THE want to win is the key for the Tingha Tigers when they face the Uralla Tigers on Sunday.
Coach Nathan Blacklock said the fire to want the glory needs to be in the players before they take the field at Tingha Sport and Recreation Ground.
""We need to play basic style football but also have fire in our stomachs to want to win," Blacklock said.
""We have to show our aggressiveness and play to the best of our ability.
"The last two times we have been up against them we have suffered losses but we will play with pride and passion tomorrow because it could be the end of the season if we lose.
"We have the home ground advantage but the last time we played them at home they beat us by a fair margin.
"This weekend is do or die and we need to really play positive.
"But we can't be too cautious like we were last weekend if it is wet weather."
Blacklock said the team also needed to be on target the whole 80-minutes.
"Against Glen Innes last weekend we didn't start the game until half-way through and we need to make sure we keep up the tempo the whole way through on Sunday.
"We are expecting to have full team on deck but we do have a few niggling injuries.
"Hopefully with a few more days to recover, we can play at full-strength."
Club secretary Chris Curtin said it was a nervous time for the Tigers.
"To play in the grand final would just be great," Curtin said.
“We may not have beaten them yet this season but I am confident the boys will be able to produce the goods.
"They are really going to lift themselves because this is their last chance.
"They will be putting 100 per cent in to what they do and it is going to be a great game."
The team is: Will Jerrard, Hamish Brown, Todd Prince, Ray Craigie, Gabriel Boota, Nathan Blacklock (c), Brayden Dwyer, Brendan Anderson, Geoff Ting, Luke Buxton, Marcus Woodbury, Nathan Fenton, Paul Leitinger, Justin McIlwain, Guy Berger and Craig Curtin.
